A bizarre marital advertisement from a Mumbai family who is looking for a groom for their daughter has conquered social media. Instead of sharing personal information such as length, education and occupation of women, the newspaper advertisement called the “500+ market capitalization of the family”.
Part of Reddit, the advertisement was: “Mumbai established business family with 500 crore+ market capitalization in search of a suitable Marwari/Gujarati boy for the marriage of their daughter (28 years).”
Do I have to apply?

Usually used to refer to the overall value of the shares of a company, surprised the expression “market capitalization” many and trained a series of humorous answers online.
A person said: “LOL I never trusted these advertisements. Families with 500+ CR Net value usually have tightly knitted elite circles. They don't have to advertise that way.”

According to some comments, it was a trick to get a groom of similar status. “The stereotype is real and the Marwari/Gujarati man who they are looking for their daughter would probably be loaded without even having to set an income filter,” someone noted.
