All ministers of the BJP-led central and state governments and the party’s elected representatives will participate in a massive public campaign from May 30 to June 14 to mark the eighth anniversary of the Modi government. The party will focus on its priorities in welfare of the poor, good governance and will celebrate the government’s service to the people.
At a press conference, BJP Secretary General Arun Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a reliable, popular, decisive, sacrificial and ascetic leader and said the whole country supports him.
Mr Singh told the details of the campaign and said each day is dedicated to farmers, women, scheduled caste groups, scheduled tribal groups and minorities.
On May 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand out checks to children orphaned during the Covid-19 epidemic and will also announce a special scholarship for them, he said.
The next day, Prime Minister Modi will address people across the country through Ridge Maidan’s Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana program in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Singh further said: “The Modi government operates on the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. Therefore, there is no discrimination between people in our public interest plans.”
As part of this campaign, a 75-hour public relations campaign will also be conducted from the state to the national level, during which all Union and state ministers and elected representatives of the party will visit the villages.
