Jaipur:
BJP President JP Nadda said on Monday that the party will form a three-quarter majority government in Rajasthan in parliamentary elections to be held later this year.
Addressing the meeting of the party’s state work committee here, Mr. Nadda said, “BJP is the only national party and all other parties have remained family celebrations. The Congress has been identified as a family celebration. Regional parties have also become family celebrations.” He also congratulated the state leadership on the successful organization of the ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ and asked it to hold more such campaigns.
Mr. Nadda attacked the Congress government in the state, claiming that cybercrime and crimes against women and Dalits have increased. Electricity, gasoline and diesel prices are also constantly rising under this Congressional administration, he added.
“We (BJP) are not only a political organization but also a party committed to social interests… India and the whole world saw the social face of the party during the Covid period,” said the BJP chief.
“Our party is a party with ideas, we do politics with a mission, politics with ideology and service to the country. Party and ideology are paramount for us,” he said.
On Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, he claimed that the people who chanted slogans against India and conspired against the country walked with him.
Mr Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the progress of the country and to making it self-reliant.
A political resolution was passed at the BJP meeting stating that under Modi’s leadership new enthusiasm, energy and inspiration have been infused into party operatives across the country.
This has boosted the BJP’s political confidence and will have a positive impact on the upcoming parliamentary election and 2024 general election, it said.
While the BJP at the center sets “new records” in the development of the country, in Rajasthan the hopes of the people are being shattered by the Congress, the resolution said.
