The bonus will also be applicable to eligible employees of central paramilitary and armed forces.

The Central government on Tuesday revived the Diwali bonus for its employees belonging to Group C and Group D and certain categories of Group B.
In an office memorandum, the Ministry of Finance’s Department of Expenditure said Group C, D and contract employees will receive a bonus this year, provided certain service conditions are met.
The maximum limit for bonus payment under these orders will be Rs 7,000 monthly salary, the report said.
The bonus will also be applicable to eligible employees of central paramilitary and armed forces.

As per the decision, employees who were employed as on March 31, 2021 and have completed at least six months of continuous service during the 2020-2021 financial year would be eligible for this ad hoc bonus.
