Congress employees in all states and districts will today eliminate candlelight marches in solidarity with the victims of the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack and to confirm unity to terrorism, the party said.
The congress has also decided to postpone his “Samvidhan Bachao” rallies that were planned for 25 and 26 April, said party-secretary-General-Secretary organization KC Venugopal.
The “Samvidhan Bachao” rallies will be resumed from April 27, he added.
The congress had announced its plan last week to raise “Samvidhan Bachao” at the level of 25 to 30 April and then at district level from 3 to 10 May and finally, a campaign from door to door to bring the message of the party to each household in the country in the country from 20 to 30 May.
In the terror attack on Tuesday in Baisaran near Kashmir's Resortstad Pahalgam, 26 people, mainly tourists, were shot.
