Coronavirus Live: India records 21,566 new COVID-19 cases, 45 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi:

India reported 21,566 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, bringing the country’s Covid number to 4,38,25,185. The number of active cases rose to 1,48,881, according to data from the Union Ministry of Health.

The death toll rose to 5,25,870 with 45 new deaths from Covid in the past 24 hours.

Active cases comprise 0.33 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.47 percent, the ministry said.
