Coronavirus LIVE updates: 27,409 new COVID-19 cases in India, 2.3% positivity rate

New Delhi:

India reported 27,409 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the Covid number to 4,26,92,943. According to the Ministry of Health, the daily positivity rate in India is registered at 2.23 percent and the weekly positivity rate at 3.63 percent.

A total of 75.30 crore tests have been conducted in India so far, with 12,29,536 tests performed in the last 24 hours.

A total of 82,817 patients recovered yesterday and the total number of patients recovered since the start of the pandemic now stands at 4,17,60,458. Consequently, India’s recovery rate is 97.82 percent.
