COVID-19 cases in India: With 31 new Covid-related fatalities, the death toll rose to 5,16,510.

India reported a total of 1,549 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of COVID-19 to 4,30.09,390. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, the number of active cases fell further on Monday to 25,106.
With 31 new Covid-related fatalities, the death toll rose to 5,16,510. The active cases comprise 0.06 percent of the total number of infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.74 percent, it turned out.
Over a 24-hour period, a reduction of 1,134 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.40 percent, while the weekly positivity rate was at 0.40 percent, the ministry said.
