SFI-UK held a demonstration in Kellogg College, Oxford against the speech of Mamata Banerjee. We resist her blatant lies by asking her to pioneer proof of social development she claims. Instead of enabling us to express our opinion peacefully, the police were called. pic.twitter.com/pj0wrpvzua

Instead of being stuck by the demonstrators, she welcomed them and responded to their allegations: “You welcome me, thank you. I will feed your candy.”
When students started the Chief Minister to interrogate about RG Kar -she said: “Please raise your voice. It is a democracy. Please raise your voice. I will listen. I will listen carefully.”

Mrs. Banerjee shared the case status and said that the central government has taken over the investigation and that the state government plays no role. She also insisted on student demonstrators not to surrender to politics.
“You know that the case is sub-judge and the central government has taken over. It is not with us. Do not do politics here. It is not a political state. You can do that (politically) with me in my state. Not here,” she said.
One of the student protesters claimed that the Trinamool leader threatened to break their fingers. “You lie,” Mrs. Banerjee shot back.
Mrs Banerjee spoke to the demonstrator as “brother”, Banerjee said: “Don't do it. I have a special affection for you. We love you all. Try not to make it a political platform. If you want to make it a political platform, go to Bengal and tell your party to be stronger against the common people.”
The Chief Minister also stopped a black -white photo from 1990 that showed her injured and wrapped in connections of an alleged murderous attack on her by Lalu Alam, a CPI (M) youth wing employee. In 2019, Lalu Alam ran for free due to a lack of evidence.
Banerjee accused people of trying to kill her, said, “I was about to die. These are your atrocities.”
The main minister said that this is not a “drama” and insisted that demonstrators were not misbehaved. “Instead of insulting me, you insult your setting. They do not respect your setting. You cannot respect me, but you cannot respect your setting.”
Mrs. Banerjee claimed that this is the “habit” from the left to create chaos wherever she goes. “The same can be repeated when you visit leaders,” she warned.
She also said she believes in unity. “I am for Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isai. I am for everyone. I am for unity. Not your people.”
The main minister added: “You encourage me. Didi will come every time. Didi doesn't bother. Didi walks like a Royal Bengal Tiger. If you can catch me, catch me!”
