Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks on deepening economic cooperation between the two nations during his meeting with Kuwaiti counterpart Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Sunday.
MEA Secretary, CPV and OIA, Arun Kumar Chatterjee, in a press conference, elaborated on the details of the Prime Minister's visit to Kuwait, the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the Gulf state in 43 years.
“Narendra Modi arrived in Kuwait on the morning of December 21, i.e. yesterday. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years.
