Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that he is eagerly awaiting the 100th episode of his radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, which is scheduled to air on April 30.
After becoming prime minister in 2014, he had started the monthly radio program.
“This year is celebrated as the year of millet. Millet is becoming more and more popular among the people whether it is ragi cakes or idlis. They are selling like hot cakes and farmers’ incomes are rising because of this,” he said for an interview. large gathering at Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli districts after the launch of several projects.
“I have mentioned millets many times in Mann Ki Baat…. You all know Mann Ki Baat will complete its century next Sunday, it will be the 100th episode,” the Prime Minister added.
“Mann Ki Baat has become a very good platform to highlight the specialties of the people of India and praise the uniqueness of the country,” said Prime Minister Modi.
“Like you, I’m eagerly awaiting the 100th episode,” he added.
Recently, the BJP’s Gujarat Unit had invited those from Gujarat whose names were mentioned in several Mann Ki Baat episodes to have lunch at Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s residence.
A one-day conclave on “Mann Ki Baat@100” will be held by Prasar Bharti on Wednesday in Delhi.
