Sirsa, Haryana:
Haryana police arrested a fake fuel production facility in Sirsa district and arrested two people on Tuesday.
The police have seized about 75,500 liters of fake diesel.
Based on a tip, the police team raided the scene and found several tanker drums, a machine with a diesel sprayer and two diesel shifting motors. Police also seized Rs 6,11,360 in cash.
The arrested suspects have been identified as seller Deepak, a resident of Adampur, and Ramesh, a resident of Rajasthan.
Haryana police said the perpetrators made counterfeit diesel fuel by mixing base oil, paraffin and mineral turpentine oil in their godown. The primary study also revealed the involvement of two more individuals.
The suspect has been charged and further investigation is underway.
