Washington:
Indian-Origin Entrepreneur and Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy, said he had a “great encounter” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Blaire House, and it was a “pleasure and honor” to welcome the Prime Minister in the US.
He also confirmed the hope that Premier Modi has a “wonderful visit” to the United States.
“It was a pleasure and honor to welcome Premier Modi here. I hope he has a wonderful visit and it was a great meeting,” Vivek Ramaswamy told Ani, after his bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Premier Modi discussed India-us tires, innovation, biotechnology, with Ramaswamy.

Mr. Ramaswamy had previously been in the race for the White House, but eventually withdrew. The Indian Origin entrepreneur who received attention for his outspoken debate performances, had ended his presidential bid and threw his support behind Donald Trump, which he had previously called the “best president of the 21st century”.
He was also appointed to put the US Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) together with Elon Musk in Co-head, but later got rid of the role, reportedly due to differences with the Tesla CEO.
PM Modi, who arrived in the US on Wednesday (local time), is planned to meet US President Donald Trump in the White House later in the day.
