SpiceJet tweeted that the bad weather in Delhi could affect departures and arrivals at the airport as it asked its passengers to check their flight status.
In an earlier tweet, IMD said that vulnerable structures and kutcha houses could be damaged by the thunderstorm and that traffic disruption is likely.
It also predicted that thunderstorms with moderate intensity rain and wind gusts at speeds of 60-90 Km/h would continue to occur over and adjacent areas of all of Delhi and NCR for the next two hours.
