New Delhi:
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray took the MLAs of dissident Shiv Sena head-on, accused Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray of treason and challenged them to try to wean ordinary party workers when he beat rebel leader Eknath Shinde and also split into the BJP , saying it will “finish his outfit and don’t want to share his Hindu voice bank.”
When the four-day-old political crisis triggered by an uprising by a group of Sena MLAs led by Minister Shinde showed no signs of a solution, Thackeray raised the bar, saying those who want to leave can do so and communicated directly with Shiv. Sainiks and mid-level officials, and also met NCP President Sharad Pawar, whose party is the second largest party in the ruling MVA alliance.
