The chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, today condemned an “attack” on the residence of Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
More than 100 striking Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) employees staged a sudden and angry protest outside Pawar’s home in Mumbai on Friday afternoon while he was at home, claiming he had done nothing to solve their problems. .

After the protest, Mr Pawar said the agitated MSRTC workers had been “misled by an unwise leadership”.
