Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh:
More than 100 students at a school in Palnadu fell ill and were hospitalized for suspected food poisoning.
The students were transferred to Sattenapalli government hospital, officials reported.
According to a student at the school, they had tomato rice and peanut chutney for breakfast and chicken curry and sambar for lunch, after which they vomited and had diarrhoea.
The government inspector Venkata Rao said, “They can get sick with food poisoning. All the students are safe and their parents don’t have to worry.”
