Today, when Mumbai police contacted Vaibhavi’s older sister (Bandekar) Tripathi, who was on board the plane that went missing in Nepal earlier in the day, she asked them not to tell her mother about the incident, because she said she was already in critical condition, an official said.

The official said the address listed on Vaibhavi’s passport said she is a resident of Bhushan Park View Society in Chikuwadi in Borivali. But when the police team went to that spot, it turned out that the flat had been rented out, he said.
Later, the police team found that the Tripathi family currently lives in the city of Thane and that their home is in the area under the jurisdiction of Kapurbawdi Police Station, while Sadani lives with her mother in a nearby area, the police officer said.
