New Delhi:
Ahead of the elections in Uttar Pradesh, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj party leader Om Prakash Rajbhar said today that if they come to power, people could ride a motorcycle with three people on board.
“A train carries 300 passengers on 70 seats and gets no challans. Why is there a challan when 3 people are on the bicycle,” Rajbhar told ANI news agency.
“If our government comes to power, three riders will be able to cycle for free,” he added.
He claimed that if their government is unable to do this, they will also fine jeeps and trains.

Rajbhar’s SBSP will fight the upcoming polls in Uttar Pradesh in an alliance with the Samajwadi party. The first stage of the election for the 403-seat UP Legislative Assembly will take place on February 10. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
The BJP had ties to Mr Rajbhar’s party in the run-up to the 2017 parliamentary elections in Uttar Pradesh. The SBSP contested eight seats and won four. Mr Rajbhar became a minister in the UP government. But just months later, the leader began accusing the Yogi Adityanath government of neglecting and sidelining his party.
A day after the 2019 Lok Sabha polls concluded, he was expelled from the cabinet. During the Lok Sabha polling campaign, Mr Rajbhar had said that BJP members should be “beaten” with shoes.
