Mahanaryaman Scindia, son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, said he has no plans to join politics at the moment. Instead, he is working on starting a cricket league, the 27-year-old scion of the Gwalior royal family said.
“Politics is certainly a medium to bring about change in society, but at the moment I have no plans to enter politics,” Mahanaryaman Scindia told PTI on Sunday.
Mahanaryaman Scindia said that even one person can bring a big change in the society and for that he does not need to join politics.
“Mahatma Gandhi single-handedly initiated a non-political revolution in South Africa and India,” said Mahanaryaman Scindia, whose father is the Union Civil Aviation Minister.
To a question that his father’s supporters hope will one day make him chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mahanaryaman Scindia said: “It is everyone’s right to have expectations. But I would not like to discuss this subject now. We are just focusing on our work right now.”
