After taking the eighth oath as Prime Minister of Bihar on August 10, Nitish Kumar had reprimanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the next Lok Sabha elections: “He won in 2014, but will he do it in 2024?” Even then, he had told reporters that he is “not a contender for anything” when asked if he would like to run for prime minister. “The question to be asked is whether the person who came in 2014 will win in 2024,” he said.
He folded his hands when questioned about it again, he said, “It’s not on my mind. Whatever people say, even if people close to me say it,” he said, adding that it’s great would be if all opposition parties worked. together and it is his job to make sure that.
We will all talk about people’s problems and how we can have a better social environment, he added.
