The leader of the opposition in the Bihar meeting, Tejashwi Yadav, has indicated that opposition parties can boycott in the upcoming elections in Bihar after feedback from people and our Alliance Partners.
Previously, Mr Yadav had adopted the India (ECI) election committee, claiming that it adopted “on behalf of BJP and ruling NDA”.

“We will see what people want and what our allies say. If the state polls are carried out in a partial and manipulative way where it has already been decided who would win what number of seats, what is the use of the execution of such an election? We can consider taking the upcoming state permit in Bihar after taking feedback from people and our (Alliance) -partner).
Earlier in the day on July 23 there was a verbal duel between reigning NDA and opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) Wetgevers on the third day of the monsoing of the Bihar meeting on the issue of special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral role in the state.

Later, while addressing media people, Mr Yadav claimed the election committee for “Working on behalf of BJP and Reigning NDA” and claimed that “the possibility of removal of 50-80 LAKH voters from the voter's list is alarming”.
“If we have so many deletions from the voter list, it is clear that there would be 3,000-4,000 names of voters that would be removed at every state of the state and this is the conspiracy of the NDA to get favorable results in the poll,” Mr Yadav claimed.
“If they want to win (NDA) elections through fraudulent resources, what does the point have to conduct elections? Chunav Mat Karwao (Don't hold the elections), “he joked as he spoke with the reporters.

“We will consult our (alliance) partners and people before we make a final decision on this (the poll Boycotting),” he added.
The Ally Congress Party also came to support RJD on this issue. “Yes, we will seriously discuss the issue (from boycotting the poll) … We can participate in any form of protest. If voters are denied their franchise, what stays in a democratic design of the country?” Senior State Congress Leader and Legislator Party Leader asked in the state meeting, Shakeel Ahmad Khan.
The ruling party (JD-U) leader and spokesperson for the Neeraj Kumar party, however, Sir Yadav closed for the “Poll Boycott Threat”.
“His (poll) boycott threat shows pure despair and hopelessness. He (Mr. Yadav) forgot that the people of the State had limited his party (RJD) to only four seats at the last Lok Sabha elections in 2024?”, Mr Kumar said.
The opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) from leaders is expected to “accept a definitive call on the Poll Boycott in the coming days”, the other leaders of Mahagathbandhan told The Hindu Against a phone call.
“Possibly, after the ongoing monsoon session of the state legislator, which will be closed on July 25,” said one of the senior left -wing party leaders, looking for anonymity. The three left-wing parties-the communist party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) and the Communist Party of India-Marxist-Leninist (CPI-ML) are part of the Mahagathbandhan opposition in the state.
The elections of the state meeting in Bihar must take place later this year in October-November.
