Punjab’s Request to Postpone Polls, Election Commission Meeting Today

Whether to postpone parliamentary elections in Punjab, as requested by leaders of several political parties, will be discussed today at an election commission meeting, sources said. The Election Commission is likely to announce its decision on the matter around noon, people with direct knowledge of the matter said, asking not to be named.
