Shiv Sena employees plundered the office of “The Unicontinental Mumbai” -the site of the show in which stand -Upcomedian Kunal Kamra Maharashtra vice -minister Eknath Shind had mocked. The party members have also gathered at the Khar police station to submit a complaint against him.
The comedian had caused an enormous controversy during the weekend and refers to the Deputy Prime Minister as a “traitor” (Gaddar) during a performance in the hotel, located in Mumbai's Khar. He had used a modified version of a Hindi number of “Dil to Pagal Hai”.
It was an allusion to the Rebellie of 2022 from Mr. Shind against Uddhav Thakeray, then Chief Minister and the chief of the undivided Shiv Sena.
His comments pulled a strong return from the Shiv Sena, who demanded his arrest.
Nowadays supporters and members of the party were focused on the office of the “The Unicontinental Mumbai”, where the show was held.
The son of Mr Tackeray and Shiv Sena UBT leader Aaditya Thakeray, in a post on X, formerly Twitter, interviewed the law and order situation in the state.

Naresh Mhaske, the Lok Sabha parliament member of the party of Thane, claimed that Kunal Kamra has accepted money from Uddhav Tackeray and focuses on Eknath Shinde.
“Kamra is a contract competition. But he should not have stepped on the tail of a snake. As soon as the teeth are out, there will be terrible consequences,” he added.
“We will ensure that you cannot move freely throughout the country. We are Shiv Sainiks from the late Balasaheb Tackeray. If we begin to follow you, you have to leave the country,” he added.
Mr. Mhaske also closed the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut for circulating the video on X.
In a post on X, Mr. Raut had said: “Kunal Kamra is a well-known writer and stand-up comedian. Kunal composed a parody song about the political scenario of Maharashtra, which irritated the shindy gang and then looted the studio. Deventraji, you are a weak Minister of the Interior”.
Shiv Sena Mla Murji Patel said he would show “Kamra's level” and asked him to apologize. “I'm going to submit a FIR to Kamra at Midc police station,” said Mr. Patel.
