Bombay:
Shiv Sena spokesman Manisha Kayande lashed out at the Shinde faction on Friday, accusing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Chandrakant Patil of abusing her family.
Chandrakant Patil said during a speech in Pune that I abuse my mother and father, but do not abuse Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Tell me, should it be acceptable in our culture to abuse one’s family? For BJP, only Amit Shah and Narendra Modi are family and they respect them more than their own family.
Ms. Kayande also accused her of attacking the BJP for “involving” congressmen in her party to form governments.
“BJP doesn’t just make the government, but it brings members from other parties. In Goa, they brought eight members of the Congress and formed the government. They have proved that they are not Hindutvawadi, they just want to form a government,” she said. . said.
Ms. Kayande further lashed out at the Eknath Shinde faction regarding the “bow and arrow” symbol, saying that Shiv Sena is the real party.
CM Eknath Shinde wrote a letter to the party chief of the Election Commission of India (ECI) for obtaining the “bow and arrow”. The decision is pending in the Supreme Court and the ECI. The faction left the party because someone instructed them , but it doesn’t mean the party is over. They are just a group and not a party, so they don’t have any rights over the symbol. We have been the party for the last 56 years and Uddhav Thackeray is our party Chief, who has given us many years,” she continued.
Earlier, the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction had approached the highest court to challenge Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari’s decision to invite Eknath Shinde to form the government and also the election of the chairman and the floor test. Recently, they had challenged the Shinde group approaching the poll panel, claiming they were “real Shiv Sena.”
On the other hand, the Mr. Shinde faction informed the highest court that it was not an “anti-party, but within-party” dispute after the Uddhav Thackeray-led camp claimed these MLAs have been disqualified from anti-party activities.
They had also challenged the action of the newly appointed chairman of the Maharashtra assembly by recognizing the whip of the Prime Minister Eknath Shinde group as the whip of Shiv Sena. The plea said the newly appointed chairman is not authorized to recognize Shinde-nominated whips as Uddhav Thackeray is still the head of Shiv Sena’s official party.
On June 29, the highest court gave the green light to the floor test in the Maharashtra assembly on June 30. Maharashtra’s governor refused to follow the direction of then-prime minister Uddhav Thackeray to prove his majority support on the floor of the House on June 29. On June 30, the bank had issued a statement regarding Prabhu’s plea against the floor test.
Following the order of the highest court, Uddhav Thackeray announced his resignation as Chief Minister and Eknath Shinde was later sworn in as Chief Minister.
