Seven medical students, including BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale’s son Avishkar Rahangdale, have died after the car they were traveling in fell off a bridge near Selsura in Maharashtra on Monday night.
According to police, the students were on their way to Wardha from Deoli when their vehicle fell. According to Prashant Holkar, Wardha Police Superintendent, the accident happened around 11:30 PM last night.
The victims have been identified as students of the Sawangi Medical College in Wardha. While Neeraj Chauhan, Vivek Nandan, Pratyush Singh and Shubham Jaiswal were MBBS seniors, Avishkar Rahangdale and Pawan Shakti were MBBS freshmen and Nitesh Singh was a medical intern
