Raichur:
Two minors, including a mentally challenged girl, were reportedly raped in Karnataka's Raichur and Hassan districts, respectively, the police said on Thursday. A second standard student is said to have been raped in Manvi Taluk and the police have arrested the accused. The victim went to the educational institution per school bus.
The accused, who also comes from the same place, took the girl from the school van and committed crime.
The victim was initially included in the Manvi Government Hospital and later switched to the Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (rims). The parents of the victim have spoken out indignation against school management for sending their child with a stranger.
The police also interviewed one of the school employees, who managed the entries and outputs of the students on that day when the crime was committed.

Another incident of sexual abuse of a mentally challenged girl was reported on Thursday in the boundaries of the Hallebeedu police station in the Hassan district.
According to the police, the accused, a neighbor, had access to the house when the family had gone a position at the location of a family member and the victim was alone. The accused entered the house on the pretext to offer her a chocolate and raped.
When the parents got home, they found the victim crying badly.
The parents took her to the hospital, where after medical examinations the doctors said she had been sexually violated.
The accused who got to know the development had escaped from his home from the back door. The parents have submitted a police and the police have launched a hunt for the suspect.
