Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop “favoring friends” and serve people who are reeling from high inflation.
He stressed that the Congress government in Rajasthan is providing gas cylinders for less than half the price offered by the center.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced at a meeting in Alwar on Monday that the state government will provide Rs 500 subsidy on every LPG gas cylinder to the poor people of the state under the Ujjwala scheme.
“The big announcement by the Congress of Rajasthan government to provide gas cylinders at Rs 500 – less than half the price of the central government. Prime Minister, stop favoring your ‘friends’ and serve the people who be hit hard by high inflation,” Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.
