New Delhi:
KT Rama Rao, the IT minister of Telangana where the BJP will hold a national board meeting today, shared photos of large office buildings in the state capital Hyderabad as he lashed out at the national celebration. Although Mr Rao did not mention the BJP by name, he chose to use words like “WhatsApp meeting of the university council” and “Jhumla Jeevisto give enough hints as to the target of his Tweet.
While “WhatsApp University” is a term that originated for spreading rumors or spreading fake content on the messaging platform, the term has often been used by opposition parties to taunt the BJP.
Mr Rao, who is also the working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), the party that governs the state, also advised the visiting members to learn the best practices and schemes implemented by the government of Telangana.
“Don’t forget to enjoy our Dum Biryani and Irani Chai,” Mr Rao added in the Tweet.

The tweet was released by the minister hours before the two-day national executive by the BJP in Hyderabad.
This will be the first physical meeting of the BJP’s main decision-making body outside the national capital after a five-year hiatus and the third in a southern state after coming to power in 2014.
The BJP is keeping its national staff in Hyderabad after an 18-year hiatus.
After consolidating its position in the northwestern region following the ouster of Uddhav Thackeray’s government in Maharashtra, the BJP turned its sights to southern states, especially Telangana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a mass rally in Hyderabad tomorrow. The rally is expected to be based on the theme of local culture and tradition.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP had won four Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
