Chennai:
The battle between the prevailing DMK of Tamil Nadu and the BJP – about the three -talenting policy of the center and the 'imposing Hindi' – was lifted on Tuesday after Deputy Prime Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said: “States Hindi losing their mother tongue” And that is his state and that his state is ready for a 'language war'.
Mr Stalin also doubled on the “blackmail” swing of the Minister President MK Stalin at Minister of Union Education Dharmendra Pradhan, pointing that the State only demands that they owe both in terms of central government funds for education and money of the deconcentration of taxes.
The counterattacks of the Tamil leaders followed Mr. Pradhan who stated that the State would not receive approximately RS 2,400 crore in funds for the current Samagra Siksha Mission, unless it assumes national education policy in its entirety.
Tamil Nadu has traditionally had a 'two languages' policy, that is, it teaches Tamil and Engels, and has witnessed massive anti-Hindi agitations in the 1930s and 1960s.
'Just ask for our money'
“We only ask for our tax money and our rights. We ask for money that is right of us … Dharmendra Pradhan has openly threatened us that funds would only be released if we accept the three-language formula. But we don't ask for the money From your father … we don't beg. “

“We ask for our appropriate share. And if you (the BJP) think you can threaten us … It will never happen in Tamil Nadu,” said Mr Stalin during a DMK-conducted protest rally in Chennai. “The people of Tamil Nadu look. They will give a suitable answer at the right time.”
Mr Stalin also reminded the BJP “This is a Dravidic country … The Land of Periyar” and said, “The last time you tried to remove the rights of the Tamil people, they started 'Gackmodi' as if You try again. This time the voice is done …

The vice-minister president also warned the Tamil to the three-language formula or the acceptance of Hindi, and said, “Dharmendra Pradhan asks:” Why is Tamil Nadu only opposing this while all other states have accepted? ” There is a reason … Several states that are accepted Hindi to lose their mother tongues … Bhojpuri, Bihari, Haryanvi have almost died because of infiltration by Hindi. “
'Certain conditions must meet'
The three-language policy is a long-term flash point between southern states and the center, and that hostility has increased since a new education policy was announced five years ago; As part of a proposed makeover, three languages must learn among the fake students, one of which will be Hindi.
That Flitpunt seemed clear last week in Mr Pradhan's comments in Varanasi. He accused the Tamil Nadu government of not imposing the policy “because of political interests” and said that the center is “dedicated” to the policy, to which “… certain conditions must be met”.
In the midst of Tamil Nadu Fury about Mr. Pradhan's remark, his colleague, Minister of Junior Parliamentary Affairs L Murugan, who comes from the Southern State that the Minister of Education had not added any conditions to subsidies from the center, and the DMK struck to politicize this issue for politicizing this issue.
BJP's 3-language campaign
In the meantime, the BJP has performed its three-language push in the state, which will vote next year in an election of the meeting. The Saffron party will launch a campaign from 1 March.

The Push of the BJP was seen as part of his constant clambering for a foot in the political landscape of Tamil Nadu. The party has never managed to win Tamil voters historically.
In 2016 it disputed all 234 seats but won zero. It lowered his sights lower in 2021 and disputed only 20, but managed to win four. The Lok Sabha -Poll record is worse -zero seats in the polls of 2019 and 2024.
Prior to the campaign launch and the 2026 elections, the state leader of the party, K Annamalai, also touched the DMK and accuses it to hold on to an “outdated” policy from the sixties.
“The world is developing quickly. And what is the point of imposing your outdated policy of the sixties on the children of Tamil Nadu?” he said
