Two schools in Delhi received a bomb threat on Monday morning. DPS RK Puram and GD Goenka School in Paschim Vihar received a threat in the early hours. Students have been sent back home and the police have been informed.
It's rush hour at schools: school buses arrive, parents drop their children off at school, and staff prepare for the morning meeting. The threat was reportedly received via email.
The Delhi Fire Brigade was informed around 7am.
Earlier, in October, an explosion took place outside a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Rohini's Prashant Vihar on Sunday morning. The explosion damaged the school wall and nearby shops and vehicles.
Following this, the next day on October 21, the schools received an email threatening to bomb all CRPF schools by 11am on Tuesday. An investigation was immediately launched and the threat turned out to be a hoax.
