The incident occurred on a flight from Bangkok to India.
The number of mileage offenders in India is on the rise and thanks to social media, these incidents are attracting more attention than ever before. A major fight broke out on a recent Thai Smile Airways flight reportedly traveling from Bangkok to India on Tuesday, alarming other passengers and crew members.

Video of the incident shows two men arguing with each other as a flight attendant tries to defuse the situation. You hear one of the men say to the other “haath neeche kar”, which translates to “put your hand down”. As the fellow passengers and cabin crew watch, the fight soon turns physical.
The man is seen taking off his glasses and begins beating the other man, with the former’s friends joining in the altercation. The other man doesn’t hit back, just trying to shield the blows. Fellow passengers and flight attendants are heard urging the man to stop and calm down, before a flight attendant manages to separate the two.
In a similar incident earlier this month, a video surfaced online of an IndiGo flight from Istanbul to Delhi where a passenger and flight attendant got into a shouting match, sparking mixed reactions on the internet. While some noted a growing trend of cabin crew impatience, others argued that yelling at flight attendants was unacceptable.
Commenting on the earlier incident, IndiGo Airlines said: “We are investigating the incident and want to ensure that customer comfort has always been our top priority.”
