Vinay Mohan Kwatra took office as India's ambassador to the US on Monday.
“It is a privilege to take charge as Ambassador of India to the United States of America. Team @IndianEmbassyUS will continue to work diligently to strengthen this crucial partnership,” he wrote in a post on X.
Kwatra is the former Foreign Minister and succeeds Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
During his last posting here, Kwatra was the Commerce Minister at the Indian Embassy.
