New Delhi:
Ola’s founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, hinted that the company’s next product would be a car. In a tweet, Mr Aggarwal tweeted today: “Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost (The movie is not over yet my friend). See you on 15 August 14:00.”
The tweet, which also includes a teaser video, comes just weeks after Bhavish Aggarwal said Ola plans to bring an electric sports car to India.

Ola Electric already has scooters in the Indian market, although concerns have been raised about the safety of these EV scooters in recent months.
If it launches an electric car, Ola will compete against some of the best players on the market. Tata Motors and MG have already launched electric variants of their popular models in the Indian market. Hyundai, Kia Motors and Volvo are also planning to bring EV variants to India.
Ola Electric has already announced the $500 million investment for a battery technology research and development center.
