Bhubaneswar:
A 65-year-old woman was established on Saturday that he had been living at the corpses of three of her family members for at least two days in the Dhenkanal district in Odisha, a police officer said.
Desize bodies of the three – the husband's husband, her daughter and grandson – were found in their residence in the village of Chaulia Khamar under the limits of the police station of Dhenkanal Sadar.
The inspector who was responsible for the police station, PURNA Chandra Rout, said that the woman, Pushpanjali Das, left the house on Saturday and went to her son's place in the city of Dhenkanal and told him three were dead.
After this, her son Prasanna Kumar Das called someone in the village, who told him that a smell was coming out of the house and that he should come and check.
For some reason, Prasanna stays away from his father's house for about 30 years.
After he went to the village with his mother, Prasanna found his father Shankarshan (70) hanging in one room, while his 45-year-old sister Subarna and her son Santosh (18) also hung in another.
It is suspected that the three died at least two days ago.
The police officer said the house was on a remote side of the village and that the family members were not mixed with others.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination to see if the three died by suicide or murder, he said.
