From regular visits to salons to trying homemade remedies and verifying every alternative mentioned on the internet, women have a really hard time getting the results they want. But did you know that items from your kitchen can aid in anti-aging treatment?

The practice of Ayurveda is now rapidly gaining prominence in the world and is known to have effective results in a short period of time. Like Korean skin care products, Ayurveda stands the test of time and proves to work wonders. Not only does Ayurveda provide beauty hacks that can help you achieve younger looking skin, its holistic approach also helps improve one’s overall health and well-being.

Here are some of the Ayurvedic beauty hacks that help fight the signs of aging:

1. Sandalwood Powder

Sandalwood powder has anti-aging properties and also helps in treating pimples and acne. Take half a tablespoon of the sandalwood powder and add a few drops of water to it. Apply the paste on your face and rinse it off after 10 minutes. This can help reduce wrinkles and fine lines while also keeping an eye on your oily skin.

2. Milk

Milk contains lactic acid and helps to deep clean the pores. Washing your face with milk helps to unclog pores from sebum or oil. It also removes acne-causing bacteria at a distance.

Honey works as an excellent natural moisturizer. It works wonders on both dry and oily skin. Apply a thin layer of honey to your face and rinse it off after 15 minutes.

4. Multani Mittic

Multani mitti helps fight the signs of aging like wrinkles and helps in tightening the skin. To make the suit, take one tablespoon of Multani mitti and add three tablespoons of rose water. Apply the pack on your face and neck and wash after the pack has dried completely.

5. Yogurt, Wheat Flour, Turmeric Powder

Mix all three ingredients together to make a face mask. You can also use lemon instead of yogurt. The acid in lemon juice is known to treat dark spots on the face, giving it a clear complexion, while the turmeric powder brightens up the face. Apply the pack on your face and neck and wash it off once it dries completely.
