With the advancement of science, humans have also evolved. Progress is visible in all sectors, ranging from technology, education and infrastructure, among others. Today, markets offer different options for a variety of products. People have achieved consistent growth in the food industry, in which things like modular kitchens, stylish kitchenware and chimneys are a common sight.

One such commodity that is widely used and abundant is utensils. The store offers different types and designs of utensils for various purposes. But are these utensils made with different materials safe? Are they beneficial or harmful to our health?

According to the Medline Plus study, the utensils used in the past were much more beneficial to health than the utensils we use today.

Below is the list of utensils that have no side effects on health-

Buyer

We are all aware of copper’s antibacterial properties that can help strengthen the immune system. In rural India, people prefer to use copper glasses or pots to store drinking water. It improves digestion and heals wounds.

Utensils made of copper can increase hemoglobin and have the ability to detoxify the body. Remember that acidic foods should not be stored in copper. Medline Plus recommends using copper for cooking, but excessive use can lead to nausea and diarrhea. Copper with a metal coating is a better option that can be used for everyday purposes.

Steel

It is one of the most suitable metals for both cooking and eating purposes. Food stored in steel can withstand high temperatures without any reactions. The reason behind this is hidden in science because steel has non-reactive properties.

Iron

Using an iron griddle improves hemoglobin in the body and aids in the growth of red blood cells. A warning never makes acidic foods because they can react. In addition, it can also darken the color of the vegetables.

Aluminium

Aluminum can heat things up quickly. However, aluminum utensils react with acidic foods, such as tomatoes and vinegar, and can cause food poisoning.

Glass

Glass utensils contain no chemicals, they have no smell or taste. So it is usually considered safe.

Silver

Silver utensils have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Its use eliminates bile defects and strengthens metabolism and immune system. In addition, they also improve your mood.

Brass

Brass utensils are better to use only if they are covered with steel. This metal can react with salt and acidic substances when heated. Cooking should therefore be avoided. Eating from a copper pot strengthens the immune system and keeps the liver healthy.
