According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha starts on January 24 at 3:22 PM to January 25 at 12:34 PM. According to Udayatithi, Ganesh Jayanti will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 25 this year.

Three yogs are marked on Ganesh Jayanti this year. Parigha Yoga starts in the morning and lasts until 06:16 in the evening. Then Shivyog and Ravi Yoga starts from 7:13 AM to 8:05 PM.

Meaning of Ganesh Jayanti
Lord Ganesha is symbolically known as the Vighnaharta – the remover of all obstacles. It is considered the symbol of success, luck and prosperity. According to Shiva Purana, mother Parvati made an idol of a child of ubtan and consecrated life in it, from which Lord Ganesha was born. That day Magh Shukla was Chaturthi Tithi. Ganesh Jayanti is thus celebrated on this date every year.
