After seven successful road trips across the country, unrivaled flavor hunters and extraordinary entertainers, Rocky Singh and Mayur Sharma pack their bags and head for hills in Season 8 of HistoryTV18’s digital exclusive #RoadTrippinWithRnM.
Starting from the national capital, New Delhi, the lifelong friends drive through the heart of Uttar Pradesh and up the hills to picturesque Uttarakhand, to experience the ancient cultural history, natural beauty and spirituality of this young state, while helping themselves with generous portions of all the great food on offer, during the trip. In November 2000, and an area of 53,483 KM, was carved out of Uttar Pradesh to create Uttarakhand, the 27th state of India with Dehradun as its capital. In Corbett National Park they search for its famous residents and in beautiful Binsar they reveal one of Uttarakhand’s best kept secrets – Mary Budden Estate – an ancient luxury retreat. The itinerary also includes Bhimtal, Mussourie, Ranikhet, Dehradun with much festivity and taste, before the inevitable descent to the plains.
