Summer is all about staying hydrated and staying away from tanning. We try several hacks to keep brown at bay. Even after repeated attempts, we sometimes do not achieve the desired result. If you are someone who is looking for simple hacks, this is your stop.
Dermatologist Dr Aanchal shed light on this via her Instagram. She posted a video suggesting ways to remove sunburn. She says, ‘If we didn’t tan, we’d burn. So tanning actually protects our skin from premature aging.” She goes on to explain that the length of time the tan stays on our skin depends on multiple factors, including how dark the tan was and how much daily sun exposure we get. “Let’s say after a vacation, if you’re mainly indoors, the color will fade in 6-8 weeks,” she explained. She added that the body color takes longer to wear off than the face color because it is darker.
But tanned skin may not be desirable for everyone. People who want to get tan should follow the tips of Dr. Follow attack:
sun exposure
The more your skin is exposed to the skin, the more it gets tanned. Therefore, wearing protective clothing such as long-sleeved shirts and using an umbrella can greatly help protect your skin from tanning.
Wear a sunscreen
Applying sunscreen to protect your skin from direct sun exposure helps prevent tanning. Otherwise, no cream can work well for the skin.
Use creams that contain these acids
Glycolic acid, grande emit acid or licorice extract, kojic acid, lactic acid are all acids that help speed up the tanning process. Use 6% glycolic acid for your face and 12% glycolic acid for your body.
