JioMart’s latest stump-breaking move: welcomes MS Dhoni as brand ambassador
JioMart will unveil its revamped festive campaign, titled “JioUtsav: Celebrations Of India”, which is expected to launch on October 8, 2023.
Reliance Retail’s JioMart, a prominent player in India’s booming e-commerce landscape, has appointed iconic Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its esteemed brand ambassador. Additionally, JioMart will unveil its revamped festive campaign, titled “JioUtsav: Celebrations Of India”, which is slated to launch on October 8, 2023.
The core of the JioUtsav campaign revolves around the profound idea that while Dhoni has consistently given the nation countless reasons to celebrate, he has often sat on the sidelines and missed out on these joyful occasions. With renewed determination and enthusiasm, Dhoni now ardently tries to participate in every moment of happiness, enjoy the spirit of festivities and cherish these special occasions with his loved ones. This compelling story with Dhoni is beautifully depicted in a captivating 45-second film.

JioMart has always focused on promoting regional artisans. The platform currently works with over 1000 artisans and sells 1.5 lakh unique products. As part of the campaign shoot, Varaganti even presented a Madhubani painting created by Ambika Devi, an award-winning artisan from Bihar to Dhoni. This means that JioMart is not only focused on offering products and the best experience to customers, but also on enabling millions of artisans and small and medium businesses to do business with ease.

The films are designed to highlight JioMart’s cross-category expertise, celebration of festive atmosphere and the great shopping offers and discounts available on the platform.
Last year, JioMart took a horizontal, cross-category approach by offering products across segments. From electronics to fashion and beauty to home decor, JioMart has onboarded Reliance brands including Urban Ladder, Reliance Trends, Reliance Jewels and Hamleys to further expand the selection on the platform. This rapid expansion is in line with JioMart’s goal to become India’s largest domestic e-marketplace.
