Indian cricketer KL Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farm in Khandala on January 23
The wedding of Indian cricketer Kl Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty was held at Suniel Shetty’s farm in Khandala on January 23. The couple celebrated their big day surrounded by close family and friends and shared dreamy photos from their wedding ceremony dressed in pretty pastels.
Designed by top fashion designer Anamika Khanna, Athiya looked surreal in the pastel pink lehenga set. The designer took to Instagram, wished the couple and wrote: Congratulations to the duo @athiyashetty and @klrahul (sic).
The floral lehenga set featured intricate embroidery and embellishments that complemented the beautiful bride. Styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel, the tonal embroidery enhanced her ensemble with a long-sleeved blouse, lehenga skirt and two dupattas, one draped around her ensemble and one placed over her head. The happy bride adorned with a large polki necklace, moontika and earrings. Like the stars in her eyes, her kale also sparkled as the couple took their pheras.
Complementing his beautiful bride, KL Rahul looked dapper in a patterned ivory sherwani paired with a kurta and embroidered stole/scarf. The duo performed their respective ensemble with elan. KL Rahul also accessorized with multi beaded long necklaces. A perfect blend of ivory and pink, the color palette felt like an extension of their personality.
The lovely photos shared by the couple, clicked by Stories by Joseph Radhik, captured every precious moment as they embarked on their journey together. Set against the scenic landscape of Khandala, the couple took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt message, posting the wedding, they wrote: In your light I am learning to love… “Today we married our most loved ones in the home that has given us immense joy and serenity. With hearts full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness. (sic).”
Making a fashion statement in his own unique style was father of the bride Suniel Shetty. The actor was dressed in true ‘Anna’ style in a beige lungi and matching kurta shirt. He accessorized with multiple beaded necklaces. Besides his father, who looked stylish and gentle, was son and Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty. The actor opted for an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sherwani and accompanied his father to address the media and hand out sweets.
Diana Penty, Krishna Shroff, Anushka Ranjan, Aditya Seal, JP Dutta, Ishant Sharma, just to name a few, joined the couple on their big day.
