Telugu actress and TV presenter Lakshmi Manchu is a fitness buff and is always eager to learn new skills. When not acting, she is often noticed at the gym, training hard and always up for experimenting with different types of exercises such as martial arts, kickboxing, yoga or any other intense workout.
The Nandi Award winner, who is a huge fan following on social media, regularly showcases her intense workout routines to effective yoga asanas on Instagram.
The actress is currently taking classes in Kalaripayattu, a popular martial arts form practiced in India and believed to have originated from Kerala. Considered one of the oldest and most scientific martial arts in the world, it helps increase body flexibility and improve concentration. It is also beneficial for mental health, promotes concentration and stimulates body awareness.
Lakshmi Manchu, daughter of veteran actor Mohan Babu, recently posted a photo on Instagram showing a cat pose known as Maarjara Vaidu.

In her post, Lakshmi has mentioned the benefits of posture Maarjara Vaidu while writing that this posture requires flexibility of the body and also helps in improving range of motion. In addition, it helps in developing the coordination of the mind and body and also helps to take control of the mind.

Lakshmi also thanked Krishnadas Vallabhatta, her trainer, for guiding her to learn amazing skills.
Professionally, Lakshmi Manchu was last seen in the anthology drama Pitta Kathalu, Netflix’s first original Telugu film. Released in 2021, the film also featured Shruti Haasan, Eesha Rebba, Amala Paul, Jagapathi Babu, and Ashima Narwal.
