Nimrat Kaur’s Instagram took us to the cobbled streets of Prague. The actress, who recently appeared in the Netflix film Dasvi opposite Abhishek Bachchan, shared some photos and videos from her trip to the Czech capital. Nimrat was seen enjoying delectable street food. She visited the city to shoot for her upcoming international project Foundation. Nimrat will star in the second season of the Apple TV original.
With the pleasant weather in the central European city, Nimrat Kaur was seen wearing a black coat and scarf. From cherry blossoms adorning the trees to posing in front of Prague’s astrological clock, Nimrat certainly appealed to our wanderlust side. She shared the photos on the social media platform, adding the caption: “Prague. Spring. selfie. Czech. To check.”
Nimrat’s journey through Prague also included a visit to the National Library of the Czech Republic. As she sat in the library, you could see the huge collection of books in the background. “Had the rare privilege of stepping into the most stunning and majestic library I have ever seen. The Klementinum Library, a beautiful example of Baroque architecture, was first opened in 1722 and houses more than 20,000 books!!! Of course, all of these can no longer be taken off the shelves!” she wrote in the caption.
Shared a glimpse of the impressive library on the occasion of World Book Day, the 40-year-old actress wrote in the caption: “Featuring a secret staircase (holding on to personal childhood fantasies), a rotating reading wheel for multiple books (particularly for astronomical studies), a history of iconic cinematic sequences that were shot, and globes so old that Australia was just an unknown place called Holandia, I was just stunned to shut up!!! No Shhh signs needed.”
Nimrat Kaur was last seen in Abhishek Bachchan’s Dasvi. The film also featured Yami Gautam in the lead role. The plot was beloved around Abhishek Bachchan’s character whose life takes a turn for the worse after he ends up in prison. Nimrat played the role of Abhishek’s wife in the film. Her character was highly appreciated by fans and critics alike.
