MM Keeravani’s Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song trophy at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, United States. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Indians around the world were waiting with bated breath to see the entire RRR team walking the red carpet. So when Ram Charan made his debut with his other half, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, fans went crazy for the couple’s traditional looks.
Upasana wore a regal silk saree and looked stunning. Coming off the shelves of famed designer Jayanti Reddy, Upasana’s six feet looked like a sight to behold. Desi internet users loved her for wearing the Indian traditional ensemble at the prestigious Oscars 2023.

Jayanti Reddy’s saree was a specially tailored sustainable piece for Upasana at the 95th Academy Award. The beautiful sartorial choice is said to be made from recycled waste.
Upasana perfectly enhanced the beauty by adding a contrasting effect through her accessories. Upasana looked like a seductive dream and let her neck piece be the highlight of her OOTD. The jewelry featured a ruby red Lilium flower on the front with a small white pearl necklace from Bina Goenka. Upasana completed her look by tying her locks into a loose bun with side parts. And for makeup, she chose pink lips and a kohl-eyed look.
RRR star Ram Charan, on the other hand, amazingly complemented his wife in a black sherwani. Looking nothing short of dressy, the actor opted for a three-piece velvet ensemble, with a bandh prom jacket, an asymmetrical kurta and straight trousers. His top jacket featured a bandhgala collar, padded shoulders and long sleeves. The all-black ensemble looked more elegant with gold colored button closures at the front and a classy brooch.
