Ranbir Kapoor showed his unwavering support for his wife, Alia Bhatt, by attending the 69th National Film Awards ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The day held immense significance for Alia Bhatt, who was honored as Best Actress for her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Images and videos of the couple’s arrival at the event quickly made their way online. While Alia Bhatt turned heads by repurposing her wedding attire, Ranbir Kapoor made his own style statement.
For this special occasion, Ranbir Kapoor opted for an all-black bandhgala suit, which he elegantly paired with leather shoes. His entire gaze radiated sharpness. To add a touch of glamour, he put on a pair of sunglasses. Overall, Ranbir Kapoor’s outfit was a masterclass in timeless and edgy fashion. The actor created a look that was not only appropriate for the prestigious event, but also showcased his sense of style. Ranbir Kapoor was seen accompanying his wife as they headed to the venue. The couple graciously paused to take photos with fans before stepping inside.
The admiration for Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t stop there. Videos and photos of the moment his wife received the award from President Droupadi Murmu have gone viral on social media. In one of the photos, the actor can be seen using his mobile phone to capture the proud moment when his wife walked up to receive her award.
Talking about Alia Bhatt’s attire, she looked absolutely beautiful in her ivory embroidered Sabyasachi drape. The actress once again wore her wedding saree with scalloped borders, intricate floral motifs and a long, floor-sweeping pallu. She draped it elegantly over her shoulder and carried it in one hand. To complete her look, Alia wore a matching blouse with a plunging neckline, hand embroidery, mid-length sleeves and a cropped silhouette that added an elegant touch to her beautiful saree.
After receiving her award, Alia Bhatt said, “It’s a big moment… I’m very grateful.”
Gangubai Kathiawadi was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also featured Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Ajay Devgn, Seema Pahwa and Jim Sarbh.
