The area of the brain where important decisions about our choices are made is called the prefrontal cortex. In scientific parlance, that part of the brain is called the RSC, which stands for Retrosplenial Cortex.
According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of California, this is the part of the brain we use to choose the options of our choice. It means that it determines what we do or don’t do. For example, if you have to eat out today, deciding on the restaurant can also be part of these options.
Not only that, we also update RSC with information about how the soup or pasta was served at our restaurant and how much we enjoyed it. The findings of this study are published in Neuron Journal.
The research was conducted under the supervision of researcher Ryoma Hattori and Professor Takaki Komiyama. It provides details on how dynamic information is processed.
According to Ryoma Hattori, in the study on mice, they found that their brain’s RSC acts as a permanent dictionary of information of their choice. The researchers from the University of Aarhus discovered in a new study that a balanced diet reduces the risk of bleeding or clots in the brain.
The findings of this study, conducted by the US Department of Public Health, have been published in the Stroke journal. It has been said that more consumption of vegetarian foods and less consumption of non-vegetarian foods is good for health.
This study may be helpful for some people. As far as a balanced diet is concerned, it is the solution to many health problems.
