While Covid has suspended the construction or opening of many hotels, there is now a wide range of new or reopened properties to choose from.
From the historic and atmospheric capital of Hanoi in the north to the sun-kissed tropical beaches of Phú Quốc in the south, here are eight places to lay your head in varying prices and styles.
