Diseases caused by vitamin A deficiency
Dr. Richa Pyare said vitamin A deficiency is not usually found at a young age. But sometimes there can be a deficiency of vitamin A in young children, which can cause various problems. If the child is not healthy and does not consume foods containing vitamin A, they may experience vision problems and night blindness. While vitamin A deficiency and due to certain age factors, some people may have eye-related problems and also affect the retina. The health expert went on to say that young children are more susceptible to vitamin A deficiency. So if they get the injections of the measles vaccine, this vitamin A injection is also given to them.
What to Eat to Overcome Vitamin A Deficiency
The doctor said if you eat healthy you don’t need any other supplements. Vitamin A obtained from these foods is sufficient for our body. But if you don’t follow a healthy diet, it can cause problems for the eyes and many other parts of the body. A healthy diet means consuming grains, green vegetables and fruits on a daily basis. But if you often eat junk food, it causes certain health problems. Therefore, include whole grains, colorful fruits and leafy green vegetables in your daily diet.
