With elections around the corner, the battle between the Congress and the BJP on social media has intensified. Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has tweeted an altered image of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, portraying him as Ravaan, a many-headed king of demons in the Hindu epic Ramayana.
BJP’s poster on Gandhi has come two days after Congress shared a photo of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah – which looked like a movie poster – with ‘PM Narendra Modi as Jumla boy’ written on it. The party captioned the post with: “I’m going to the election rally soon.”
